Midnight Mess from Vault of Horror was an inspiration to the Ghouls in the comic version of Mournin Mess. But as you noticed that the vampires sunk a tap on the guy’s neck, the Cryptkeeper from the show does a similar act in the ending segment of, “What’s Cookin?”
